BUTTR Powder Lubricant is a water-soluble lubricant powder that mixes with water to create your own lubricant. The concept is simple: add the powder to water, mix it, wait a few minutes, and you get a ready-to-use lubricating gel. The amount of water determines the consistency — less water for a thicker gel, more water for a lighter and more fluid texture.

With 135 g of powder, you can make between 5 and 47 liters of lubricant depending on the chosen dilution. It is one of the most economical formats available for regular users, long sessions, or anyone who prefers having a larger quantity on hand.

How to prepare your lubricant

What you need: a clean container (bowl, bottle or basin), lukewarm water, and a spoon or whisk.

Dosage: start with a small amount of powder (one teaspoon) in a bowl of lukewarm water. Mix well to dissolve the powder and avoid lumps. Let it rest for 5 minutes — the gel will gradually thicken.

Adjust the texture: if it feels too fluid, add more powder. If it is too thick, add more water. You can fine-tune the texture by trial and error until it matches your preference.

Storage: prepare only the quantity you need for the session. The prepared gel can be stored in the refrigerator for a few days in a closed container, but for hygiene reasons it is best prepared fresh whenever possible.

Q: Can the prepared gel be stored?

Yes, for a few days in the refrigerator in a closed, clean container. But for hygiene reasons, it is better to prepare it fresh whenever possible. The dry powder itself keeps very well in its closed pot at room temperature.

Q: Does it glide as well as a silicone lubricant?

The glide feels different. Powder-based gel feels wetter and more gel-like than silicone, which feels silkier and drier. For larger quantities and longer sessions, powder gel can be a very practical and economical option.
