One strap, and that's it

Most men's lingerie pieces settle for shortening things or making them see-through. This one does something else: it's a one-piece bodysuit where the entire top half comes down to a wide strap that runs from one shoulder diagonally across the chest down to the shorts.

The result is unashamedly asymmetric. One side of the chest is entirely bare, the other is crossed by the black band. There's a small mesh panel at the shoulder, then nothing else: no sleeve, no side, no back. The back is left very open, giving the garment the silhouette of a wrestling singlet run through a lingerie filter.

The bottom is boxer-style shorts in sheer black mesh, with fishnet panels on the hips and thighs and an opaque front pouch. Second-skin effect, close-fitting cut.

The fabric and the fit

The mesh is fine and soft. It clings without squeezing and stays see-through throughout. On the shorts, transparency is total except for the front pouch.

The fishnet panels on the hips and thighs create a contrast of textures: two levels of transparency in the same piece, which avoids a one-note effect.

The strap is wide and opaque. It's the structural piece of the whole garment: it carries the shorts and gives the whole thing its shape. Its stretch is what lets the one-size fit work across very different body types.

One piece, not two. Nothing rides up, nothing comes apart, nothing gapes: top and bottom are joined together. That's a real advantage over a two-piece set, which tends to separate once you start moving.

It doesn't trap any heat at all. Between the mesh, the fishnet and the amount of bare skin, this is probably the most breathable piece in the range. In a club, that matters a lot.

A point of transparency, so to speak: the composition isn't disclosed by the manufacturer. With this kind of stretch mesh, it's typically a polyamide or polyester base with elastane, but we won't state it without confirmation.

What the style brings

The asymmetry stands out from the crowd. That's the main argument. Almost everything in men's lingerie is symmetric: two straps, two sides, a centred neckline. A single diagonal breaks that logic, and the eye can't help but stop there.

The diagonal elongates the torso. It's a classic tailoring trick: a slanted line visually stretches the silhouette and emphasises the obliques and abs, rather than cutting them off horizontally.

It flatters one side by covering it. The covered side draws just as much attention as the bare one, because the contrast creates movement. It works better than a fully bare chest.

The value for money is hard to beat. Under €10, you're getting an original piece, not a basic one. It's a bit of a risk that costs almost nothing.

And it's comfortable. Not much fabric, one piece to put on, nothing pinching: you forget you're wearing it, which isn't true of everything on this shelf.

When to wear it

In a club, a sauna, at a fetish night, this is its natural habitat. The piece stands on its own, it's light, it breathes, and it gets noticed instantly in a crowd.

For a night that's going to run long, that's a real selling point. Not much fabric, no overheating, and you won't be drenched after an hour the way you would in vinyl.

In private, it's the undressing that gets interesting: drop the one strap and everything comes down at once. It's a different mechanic from a two-piece set.

Under a jacket or an open shirt, the strap showing diagonally does exactly the job you'd want it to.

In photos, the asymmetry is a gift. It creates a natural diagonal in the frame, which is far more interesting than a centred composition.

On stage or in performance, if that's your world: it reads from a distance, it moves well, and it doesn't restrict any movement.

On the sex appeal front

What's covered does the work. A fully bare chest doesn't tell much of a story. A chest half-crossed by a black band does: there's an asymmetry to fix, something to slide off.

The strap is made to be pulled. It's the obvious move, and the garment invites it. Few pieces offer such an obvious handhold.

The shorts hide only the essentials. Opaque front pouch, everything else see-through. From behind, the backside is perfectly visible through the mesh.

The second-skin effect amplifies everything. The mesh clings instead of hanging loose: the shape is outlined rather than merely suggested.

And taking it off is instant. One piece, one strap, and it's done. Depending on the moment, that's either a feature or a drawback — your call.

Care

Hand wash in cold water, mild soap or a delicate detergent. Fine mesh doesn't like scrubbing or being wrung out: press and rinse, that's it.

Dry flat, in the open air. No tumble dryer, no radiator, no iron: heat destroys the stretch.

No fabric softener, no bleach.

If you do put it in the machine, a wash bag is a must, cold delicate cycle, minimum spin.

Take off your jewellery before putting it on. Fine mesh is the fabric most prone to running on the whole shelf.

Store it flat, with nothing on top of it and away from velcro and hooks.

FAQ — Your questions, answered

Q: Does the strap go on the right or the left?

A: The garment is symmetric in its construction — turn it inside out and the strap switches sides. Pick whichever suits you best.

Q: Does it stay in place when you move?

A: Yes, because it's a single piece: the shorts pull against the strap and the whole thing stays together. Nothing rides up and nothing comes apart.

Q: Can you see everything?

A: The shorts are see-through everywhere except the front pouch. The top half is next to nothing, so yes, there's a lot on show. That's the whole idea of the piece.

Q: What build does it suit?

A: Highly stretchy fabric, comfortable from S to L. If you have a long torso, the strap will pull more on the shoulder — that's the only real point of tension with this kind of cut.
