Neck, Chest and Wrist Restraint Harness, 8 Rings

Adjustable collar, vertical chest piece fitted with 8 rings, adjustable belt...
The weight of metal, the click of the ratchet, and two keys. Proper cuffs, with the safety catch that stops nasty surprises.
Under 15 euros for an accessory that'll see plenty of use.
You can tie someone up with a scarf, silicone or rope. But nothing produces the effect of metal: the weight in your hand, the cold against the skin, and above all the click of the ratchet locking shut. That sound alone shifts the mood.
These Toy Joy cuffs are genuine, functional silver metal cuffs, adjustable and supplied with two keys. They're not trying to be gentle: that's exactly what's being asked of them.
The part that really matters: they come fitted with a safety catch. That's the mechanism that stops the cuff continuing to tighten once it's locked on — the classic accident with cheap cuffs.
Without it, a cuff tightens with every movement. The person wearing it pulls, the ratchet clicks forward a notch, and it happens again. Before long, the cuff is compressing the wrist and it becomes a real problem.
The safety catch locks the mechanism at the chosen position. Once engaged, the cuff can't advance any further. That's what separates a usable accessory from a dangerous gadget.
Get into the habit of engaging it every time, as soon as the cuffs are on and before play begins. It takes two seconds.
Adjusting the fit completes the safety. Set it to the wrist before locking: snug, not tight.
Put the keys somewhere obvious before you start. On the bedside table, not in a pocket. It's rule number one, and it's the one people forget.
Keep the second key elsewhere, in another room. Two keys aren't supplied for show: they're there for the day the first one vanishes under the bed.
The finger rule. You should be able to slide a finger between the cuff and the wrist. Then engage the safety catch.
Wrists in front to start. More comfortable, less tiring, and it lets you see what's happening. Hands behind the back is far more intense but also tires the shoulders out much faster.
Don't attach them to anything fixed until you're completely comfortable with the mechanism. Cuffing the wrists together is more than enough to begin with.
Agree on a safe word beforehand, and never leave a cuffed person alone.
Watch the hands. If they go pale, tingle or turn cold, take the cuffs off immediately.
The interrogation. The most obvious scenario and the most effective, because it gives you a setting and roles without needing to explain anything.
Hands cuffed during a blow job. Not being able to touch or control the pace changes the sensation completely.
Combine with a blindfold. Taking away sight as well as the hands multiplies the effect, without adding any physical restraint.
Handing the cuffs over. The act of offering up your own wrists is worth every scenario going.
Paired with a uniform. If you've got one lying around, now's the time to bring it out.
Clean with soapy water and dry thoroughly. Metal rusts if it's put away damp, especially inside the mechanism.
A drop of fine oil in the ratchet now and then keeps the mechanism moving smoothly.
Store the keys with the cuffs, in the same place. Always.
Check the mechanism before every use: opening, closing, safety catch and key. Thirty seconds of checking beats a ruined evening.

Q: Do they hurt?
A: Not if they're properly adjusted and the safety catch is engaged. Metal doesn't forgive a bad fit, which is why the finger rule matters.
Q: What exactly does the safety catch do?
A: It locks the ratchet so the cuff can't keep tightening as the person moves. Without it, a cuff closes progressively with every pull.
Q: What if I lose the key?
A: There are two, and that's deliberate. Keep them in two different places. In a genuine emergency with pain and no way out, A&E or the fire brigade will open these without any trouble and without judgement.
Q: Can you sleep in them?
A: No. Never with metal, never unsupervised.
