The Axel 2 harness (Axel II) from Anaïs for Men is a chest harness in open-weave black elastic fabric, resembling a large-check mesh. It covers the whole upper body. At the front, the straps meet on a silver ring at pec level and run down to two carabiners that clip onto the rings of the Ares lingerie. At the back, two shoulder straps run down over the shoulder blades to two rings linked by a horizontal strap, in an H, from which straps run back under the arms to join the front.

The straps meet in nickel-free metal rings, and the shoulder straps are not removable. It's the more enveloping of the two Axel harnesses: it frames the pecs, the shoulders and the back all at once.

Its strong points

The mesh effect. The open-weave straps let the skin show through their checks: the harness looks lighter than a harness with solid bands, and its texture echoes the fishnet of the Ares boxer briefs, brief and jock bikini.

An H-shaped back that outlines the shoulders. The two vertical shoulder straps and the horizontal strap between the shoulder blades frame the upper back and emphasise its width. From behind, the V shape is immediate.

The Axel 2 is the full chest harness: open-weave mesh-effect straps, ring on the chest, straps under the arms and an H-shaped back with two rings. More textured and more enveloping, it's available in S/M.

The Axel 3 is more minimalist: two wide solid elastic bands that cross in an X over a central ring, at the front. More graphic, it's available in L/XL and XXL/3XL.

How to wear it

With Ares lingerie, carabiners clipped on: the boxer briefs for a complete look, the jock bikini or the Ares 2 jockstrap to leave the butt bare while the top is harnessed.

Over a bare torso, at a club, a fetish party, the sauna or Pride, with leather shorts or black jeans.

Under an open shirt or a jacket, so the straps can be guessed at before everything is revealed.

In photos, the H-shaped back is a gift: it structures the image and puts the shoulders at the centre.

Usage tips

• Check the size: the Axel 2 is available in S/M, for slim to medium builds.
• Put on the Ares lingerie first, then slip your arms into the harness as you would a waistcoat.
• Place the H at the back between the shoulder blades and the front ring in the middle of your chest.
• Clip the carabiners to the waistband rings last, without forcing.
• Take your jewellery off before putting it on: the open-weave straps can snag.

Safety and care

This is a fashion harness, not a restraint harness. Its elastic bands aren't made to bear weight, suspend or immobilise anyone: don't use it to tie up or to pull hard on a partner.
