Two ribbons, 1.60 m, enough to try it out without committing

There's a moment when the idea of tying someone up crosses your mind, without wanting to walk into a shop and leave with a £90 kit. These two satin ties are exactly the answer to that.

Two ties, 160 x 7 cm, in black 100% polyester satin, each carrying the words "juste pour toi" (just for you). That's it, and it's enough for a first time.

Satin is what we recommend to start with: wide, soft, and smooth, it spreads pressure instead of concentrating it. It has neither the look nor the rigidity of serious restraint gear, and that's exactly what you want from it.

Why 1.60 m changes everything

Length is versatility. With 1.60 m you can wrap several times around a wrist and knot it to a bedpost, or tie both wrists together while keeping plenty of slack. A short tie only gives you one option.

Seven centimetres wide won't leave marks. That's the difference from thin rope or a narrow cuff that marks the skin in ten minutes. You can hold a position much longer without it becoming the whole story.

Two ties cover the essentials. Both wrists, or both ankles, or one wrist and one ankle for an asymmetric position. If you want all four limbs plus a blindfold, the 5-piece set is what you need.

It packs away anywhere. Two black ribbons folded in a drawer tell nobody anything.

How to use it

The knot is the whole game. Flat knot or quick-release loop, never a slip knot. Satin slides; a bad knot tightens with every movement, and you notice too late.

Two fingers between the tie and the skin. That's the rule, and it applies to soft fabric too.

Tie above the joint. On the forearm rather than the wrist itself, on the leg rather than the ankle. Nerves and tendons run through the joints.

Start simple. Both wrists tied together in front of the body: comfortable, enough to shift the mood, and undoes in a second if needed.

Then the bed. One wrist to each bedpost, and you're in a classic position that always works. 1.60 m reaches with plenty to spare.

No bedposts? Wrists to each other, ankles to each other, or a tie run under the mattress.

What this changes between two people

A satin tie won't hold someone who wants to break free. The restraint is symbolic and relies on agreement — which is exactly what makes it approachable for guys who've never done anything like this before.

Stillness does the work. Not being able to use your hands completely changes how you receive. It's not the strength of the tie that matters, it's having agreed to wear it.

It slows everything down. Tied up, you can't speed things up or take the lead. It's the best cure for a sex life that always moves at the same pace.

Take turns. Two ties, two rounds, each of you gets a go. That's how you find out which side you actually prefer — and there are often surprises.

Combine with a blindfold if you have one. Losing sight amplifies everything else far more than adding extra ties does.

Safety: the rules that matter

Agree on a safeword beforehand.

Never around the neck. Under any circumstances. It's the absolute rule.

No slip knots. Satin slides and tightens on its own. Check regularly that the knot hasn't shifted.

Check circulation every ten minutes. Cold, white, blue, numb, or tingling extremities: untie immediately.

Keep round-tip safety scissors in the room. An over-tightened satin knot can become impossible to undo by hand.

Never leave someone tied up alone.

Care

Hand wash, cold water, mild soap or delicate-fabric detergent. No machine wash — polyester satin would pill.

Don't wring. Press between two towels and let dry flat or on a line, in open air.

No tumble dryer, no radiator, no bleach, no fabric softener.

Storage: rolled up, untied, away from anything that could snag. Satin runs the moment it meets velcro or a zipper.

FAQ — Your questions, our answers

Q: Is two ties enough?

A: For wrists or ankles, yes. If you want all four limbs plus a blindfold, get the same brand's 5-piece set.

Q: Does it actually hold someone in place?

A: Not against their will. The restraint is symbolic and relies on your agreement. For real restraint, you'd need leather or metal cuffs.

Q: Does satin mark the wrists?

A: With 7 cm of width, a lot less than rope. Stick to the two-finger rule, avoid slip knots, and there won't be any marks.

Q: Can it double as a blindfold?

A: Yes, a 160 cm tie makes a perfectly good blindfold — just fold it and knot it behind the head. You'll only have one left for tying, though.
